We collect the information you provide when creating an account, booking a shipment or applying as a rider: name, email, phone number, addresses, company details, vehicle and document information, and passport photographs. We also collect technical data such as IP address and browser type.
2. How we use your information
To create and manage your account, process and deliver shipments, verify rider identity, issue invoices and receipts, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, and improve our services.
3. Payment information
Card payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your full card number or CVV. We retain transaction references, amounts, status and timestamps so we can reconcile payments and honour refunds.
4. Sharing your information
We share only what is necessary: your name, phone number and delivery address with the assigned rider so a delivery can be completed. We may share data with Paystack for payment processing and with authorities where legally required. We never sell your personal data.
5. Photographs and documents
Passport photographs and identity documents supplied by riders are stored securely and used strictly for verification and safety purposes. They may be visible to customers for the rider assigned to their shipment.
6. Data retention
Account and transaction records are retained for as long as your account is active and for a further period required by Nigerian tax and record-keeping law.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run secure sessions and remember your login. Analytics cookies, if enabled, are used in aggregate to understand site usage.
8. Your rights
You may request a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or request deletion of data we are not legally required to retain. Contact support@fredicare.com to exercise these rights.
9. Security
We apply industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections, hashed passwords and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the website.
